shyshyshiloh about our respective musical backgrounds. talking about my music experience really had me reflecting on my relationship to music and midway through a reply to his comment i felt like i really needed to arrange something. sorry for the very late reply!

i missed my first daily journal entry yesterday ahhhhhhhh. well. here's my penance i suppose.
life updates: the semester has started and life is kind of crazy! a ballroom competition is coming up in a couple of weeks and it feels like there’s so much to manage right now ugh.
writing updates: uh oh i started a new fic. i think i just need to finish something rough just to finish something. it's hard because the more i write, the more i learn what i don't know how to do (as with any skill) and i get stuck feeling incapable of executing the ideas i have.
that aside, i am happy with some of the progress i've made; writing my first draft felt like trying to speak a foreign language: slow, stilted, and with an unnecessary amount of embarrassment involved.
i'm still not quite past the point where i can read things i've written without flinching every other sentence but well. we persevere.

tripleS bbb inspired tropes
Dec. 14th, 2025 11:09 ami'm simultaneously almost done and feeling stuck on my tS fic so i've started thinking about what i want to explore for my next one. i've been really getting into the bleak boyband bingo board and other inspired boards (i found a hockey rpf board and an f1 rpf board!!!) so i decided to brainstorm some bbb inspired tropes/scenarios that i would be interested in exploring for tS.
some of these aren't necessarily tropes or scenarios (ex. age) but are just threads that would be fun to pick at. i would love to add onto this list as time goes on and hear other people's thoughts and ideas on this!
